What I did this weekend

Do I need to say anything else? After playing it for a fair amount this weekend, I've finally gotten used to the 3D interface and I must say, I love it. The usability of the overall interface is astounding and the game just flows from start to finish. For fans of the previous games, the best I can describe it is that they've added depth to the game and removed much of the tediousness that was involved, especially in the beginning and end games. Nothing will compare to the fond memories of sleepless nights playing the original, but this game is a worthy successor to the line.

Natalie Marie

My new niece, Natalie Marie. She was born on Sunday, weighs 6 pounds, 14 ounces and is 20 inches long. My sister is doing well and the baby is now off oxygen but still in intensive care. They hope to both come home in a couple days. Can't wait to meet her... Posted by Picasa

Operation Candy

My wife found this candy in our house. We don't have any idea where it came from but to her it was probably the best candy she's ever eaten. If anyone knows the source, let me know. All I could find out about it is that the trademark is owned by Storck but they don't have any information about it on their website. Posted by Picasa

A picture is worth a thousand words

Luckily this one isn't talking about anything breaking. Posted by Picasa

I broke my daughter

When someone tells you that you shouldn't swing young children by their arms, believe them. I broke my daughter last night with nothing more than a playful tug on her arm while walking to initiate a swing between me and my wife who was holding her other arm. Without a sound she screamed as if I had pulled her arm off, which, it appears, I almost did. After 3 hours at urgent care, the doctor appeared to do nothing more than examine her elbow and then declared, "I felt it go back in". We still took x-rays just to be sure but there was nothing broken. By the time the x-rays were done, she was running down the halls of the urgent care facility but still wanted to wear her "belt", the sling, as she liked it. She seems fine this morning.  Posted by Hello
